LPI launches refreshed website to celebrate 20 years in workplace learning
The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) today announced the launch of a new, redesigned version of its website, to recognise and celebrate 20 years as the leading membership body for professionals in the workplace learning and development sector.
Key features of the site include a cleaner and bolder design, a more intuitive user interface with enhanced search and navigation, and optimisation for mobile devices.
The search function has been significantly improved, allowing for shortcuts to multimedia content, product resources and whitepapers, consultant biographies, learning providers, freelance trainers and other content.
“Our mission is to promote the skills and professional status of individuals and organisations engaged in learning activities, and to assess the quality of learning services.” said Michael Strawbridge, Head of Member Services, LPI. “We do this with a comprehensive range of membership, certification, accreditation, events, awards, networks and consulting services – so we need a website that will showcase and support our current and future offerings.”
“I am happy to say that the new site’s refreshed and simplified look combined with an improved search functionality provides a solid platform upon which the LPI can build a lasting and relevant library of content for learning professionals. I am particularly excited by the addition of dedicated pages for the hundreds of individuals and accredited companies who work with the LPI, all of which will act as the go-to directory for quality providers of learning products and services.”
Edmund Monk, Managing Director, LPI, said: “The LPI has listened to its global membership community, and subscribers to the Learning Professional Network, and created a great new website for learning professionals. It has been recognised as important that we continued to add free resources and an intuitive search facility, which we have done. We have invested in a search facility for accredited learning providers too; allowing users an easy way to find a training company which is committed to quality. This is a modern site for a modern institute, reflecting our ongoing commitment to involve, inform and inspire.”
