As learning and performance professionals, we’re often called upon to coach our fellow humans. This might be as an in-house L&D business partner offering coaching to leaders and colleagues, or as an external coach and business owner working with your clients. In either context, others can look to us to support and enhance performance through coaching where we’re expected to help raise awareness and provide appropriate levels of challenge and support.
But how do we do this well in the current crisis?
Coaching humans through a crisis is a webinar designed to help you think about how you can support colleagues and clients through the Coronavirus pandemic. Using concepts from positive and coaching psychology, and related disciplines, we’ll explore some of the challenges people might be facing with their mental health as they try to adjust and keep performing and, importantly, how you might be able to help.
Whether you’re new to coaching or an experienced coach, this interactive webinar is open to all members of the LPI and will cover the following areas:
Our 2020 context
Mental health and performance
Normalising our reactions
Setting self-concordant goals
Self-care as a coach
